Episode 01 - A Thief With a Notice Card

"Checkmate!" Lights flashed in the sky. "The painting was stolen!" Police cars are trying to chase the culprit. "Don't let her get away! After her!" We then see the darkened figure jump from building to building, escaping. And finally disappearing in the dark of the night. "She got away again..."

*opening theme song* - Piece of Love

Maron is running to her class. "Sorry I'm late- huh?" An SD* Miyako drops balls on Maron's head. Miyako explained to her that Jeanne had gotten away again. Maron told her that she should stop chasing Jeanne all the time. Miyako says that rules are made for a reason and that they should be followed! Maron disagrees saying that rules are made to be broken. "I believe in freedom!" The two gets into a fight when their teacher blew her recorder (a sign of trouble). "Gymnastics should be done gracefully." She turned to them, "what you two are doing is not!" Maron and Miyako apologizes.

After school, the two are walking home. "Quit following me!" Miyako looks up, looking annoyed and says "We live in the same apartment building, so it can't be helped!" The two walked inside the building. "We got yelled at again... nothing good ever happens..." Maron walked towards her mailbox. She opens it and sighs. Miyako, seeing that her friend looking so depress, tries to change the mood. "Maron!" Maron looks at her friend. "What do you mean?!" Maron says that everything sucks. Miyako hits the boxesthat were stacked by the wall. It fell on top of the two. "You're right Maron, nothing good does happen." Maron replies, "Don't say it yourself." Miyako grew angry, "Whoever left these boxes here is wrong to do so!" A hand grabbed Miyako up. "Sorry, it was me." A handsome guy was holding Miyako, as the two girls blushes. Miyako frees herself from his clutches and told him to remove theboxes immediately. He says he that he will, and compliments on how cute-looking Miyako is. Miyako, of course, blushes. The guy turns towards Maron and looks down, "You're cute, too," he says, "I especially enjoy the view." Maron looks down and saw that the guy can see her panties ^-^ She quickly covers her skirt and was turning red.

"What a jerk!" Maron was angrily walking towards her apartment, "Those are the things that you usually should ignore!" Miyako was red and in a daze (she really likes the new guy). "Aah! those boxes means he's moving in..." Maron starts to get even more annoyed, "Miyako?" Miyako didn't say anything and opens the door. Her mother greets her and she went inside.Maron walks into her apartment. "Miyako sure was acting strange." She turned on the t.v. and the newsman was talking about paintings that were done by Yamakawa was being vandalized.

Meanwhile, Yamakawa walks towards his painting and smears black paint on it and grins. Fin follows him home. "Found it!" She looked pleased. "No.. don't come in my soul!" Yamakawa was being consumed by a demon in his painting. "Oh no... this isn't good!" Fin makes a notice and thows it through his window. Yamakawa picked it up and read it:

"Tomorrow evening at 8, I will take your beautiful painting: The Green Light."

Fin arrives home and greets Maron, "Hello Maron!" Fin hugs Maron's cheek, "Welcome back Fin!" (very cute scene!) Fin told Maron that Yamakawa was actually the person who is disrespecting his own painting. She told her that there is a demon inside of his painting, The Green Light, and she needs to seal it right away. Maron annoyed told her that she already sealed one yesterday. Fin told her that she can't just let a demon stay on Earth.The only person who can seal demons was the reincarnation of Jeanne D'Arc, and that is her! "I don't believe it. All this demon talk in the 21st century." Fin says that if she will not do her duties as Jeanne, then the demons will devour human souls and God will become weaker. The devil will gain power and everyone will die! "Everyone...dies..." the thought rang in Maron's head.

Maron was invited to dinner with the Toudaji's. Miyako told her dad that she will be helping him capture Jeanne. "But how did you know...?" Her father looked surprised. "When it comes to policework, don't underestimate your daughter!" She says gallantly.Miyako's mother says that she should stay home and let the detectives do their work. Maron agrees with her. Fin flew and sits on her (Miyako) mother's shoulder. "Miyako, you should listen to your mom." Maron says. Miyako toldMaron to shut up and Maron looked helpless. "Don't worry father! I got a trap all ready for Jeanne!" Miyako's father asked, "What trap?" Miyako giggles and says it's a secret. Maron looks at Fin and the two looked worried.

The tower bell rings. Maron is in despair and doesn't want to become Jeanne. She sits on her bed groping her legs. "Only you can seal them Maron!" Fin tries to motivate Maron, "If you don't do it, I won't be able to become a higher angel! It's hard being a jutenshi (sub-angel) you know!" Fin looks at Maron, who doesn't say anything. "Are you going to let the demon devour Mr. Yamakawa, who is a victim?" Maron leaps up and stands on her bed, "You're right Fin! I'm the only one who can do it!" Fin looked at Maron happily and pleased.

All the police officers were in their position. Miyako looked excessively determined in capturing Jeanne. "Ay, Miyako sure is determied." Maron is standing on top of a tower, looking through her binoculars. "Be careful Maron," Fin says, "don't forget thatMiyako has a trap somewhere." Maron told her that she is the reincarnation of Jeanne D'Arc and that she can handle it! "Fin, will you do the honors?" Maron held out her rosary. "OK" A pink light shot out of Fin's jewel on her head, and transfers it into the rosary. "Let's go!" Maron jumps off the tower and transforms into Jeanne.

"Come out Rebound Ball!" a rubber ball comes out of her Petit Claire. "Game Start!" She shouts out as she jumps from tree to tree with the Rebound ball. She shoots a small pebble and it activates the trap that was set up specifically designed for her. The police notices that shewas there now. She approaches the house. Fin talks to Jeanne on her Petit Claire. She told Jeanne that the painting was on the seond floor. She goes into the house and went inside a room. The police followed her inside and heard her scream. "Alright!She fell for it!" Miyako came running with her dad, and all of them went inside the room. "Jeanne! You're- huh?" Miyako looks around the room but sees no one. Jeanne crouching against the upper part of the wall (on top of the door), jumps down. "Sorry about this!" She pushes them inside and a net came flying up, imprisoning Miyako and the others. Miyako angered, "It isn't over Jeanne!" Jeanne opens the door and walks inside another room. Her Petit Claire starts to react, and she sees the demon-possessed painting.

Jeanne approaches the painting. Suddenly, Yamakawa appears behind her and starts to choke her. Jeanne remembers what Fin had said earlier, how everyone will die... She breaks away from his grasp. "Under the name of the Lord! Those who are born in darkness, I seal you here!" She throws the pin at the painting. "Checkmate!" and the demon was asorbed. The pin turns into a chess piece (pawn), Fin catches it and says "Capture complete!" Miyako came running into the room, "The painting is gone!" "Adieu!" Jeanne jumps out of the window. "Leaving so soon?" Miyako pushes a button and a net came out encircling Jeanne in midair. Jeanne at the moment didn't know what to do. "Wait a minute!" She throws her rebound ball in the center and pulls it. The net went in the wrong direction and collasped. "Arrggh! Jeanne!!!!!" Miyako angered, screams out.

Yamakawa awakens and is shocked to see that his painting was gone. Meanwhile, the same handsome boy that had an unfriendly meeting with Maron earlier, looked at his computer. "Just as I thought," he looks at a picture of Maron on the monitor, "Kusabake Maron..." and smiles.
